After six days of a lot of activities and not much sleep, we both needed those days at the beach.
Brigitte got in these three days 'almost' the same taint as I had collected in two months. But I still win and I have so during the whole three weeks. She tells me a scientific story about male children, who seem to be more competitive than females. Not in this case, though! We did some surfing on boogie boards on waves which were actually a bit too big for us. Another more likely possibility is that we didn't know how to use the boards, which could be correct because a 'only women' lifeguard had to save Brigitte. We saw some kind of diving birds and pelicans who were fishing right under our noses. There were some nice rocks to climb onto and enjoy the sun, the waves and the wildlife. Photographing took a lot of time, because we wanted to have the perfect shot of those birds. Many restaurants at the beach were tested for drinks, food and whether there chairs were as comfortable as they looked. Cabanas Pepe, the place we stayed, was great with a nice ocean view. We could pick mango's from the trees in the streets, and there were many touristy shops where Brigitte had to buy stuff. Women! Not to mention that I actually bought a little bit as well.
