Guatemala is a third world country again. Buses that are over packed, people who don't speak a word of English, hassles on the street about prices, cheap and one big dirty mess. In one word great!! Xela as it is often called is a bit quiet with not much to do. Wednesday I did a hike to laguna Chicabal, with some other travelers, which was a lake in the crater of an extinct volcano. When the fog cleared up it was extremely beautiful, but we had to wait for that. I watched the movie "buena vista social club" and was taken by its beautiful music. At the market I finally found a sweater that fitted me, one was necessary here in the evenings.
