After a long trip over unpaved roads I was back in Guatemala again. This was the weirdest border crossing ever. Between getting a stamp on the Honduran site and a stamp on the Guatemalan site, I had to change buses twice and it took over half an hour of driving. That's a lot of no-mans land. Livingston was boring. The trip to Rio Dulce was nice. Many birds, including the by now common pelicans and those white long necked birds. A lot of mangroves with a nice spot for swimming on a small island somewhere in the center of the lake. The town Rio Dulce was just one boring car dominated place, where I wanted to get away from as quick as possible. I did see the nearby castle and all the people who take a swim, relax and eat lunch, which was nice.
