The bus ride from Coban to Uspantan was gorgeous. Mountain scenery and indigenous villages on the way. In Uspantan I got stuck for five hours, which wasn't a bad thing, because there was a local festival going on and I met a nice poster vendor who wanted to show me around. I was invited by the people who perform their original dances and had lunch with them. It was strictly forbidden to make photo’s of their faces, only when they were in outfit, beautiful masks and clothes. The route to Nebaj was as beautiful, but Nebaj itself was a very quiet town. And after some walking around, seeing the center and the nice colorful graveyard, I decided to go back to Mexico.
